A night of very little sleep: my spirits are, if anything, lower than when I went to bed. Even an early rise, and extended read over breakfast buffet, have failed to raise them. How to find a way of working where constantly, you are undermined by those you are seeking to engage? And who fiercely defend their right to undermine you? I have several possible solutions to this, and all of them involve loss.
